Apple Watch Complication
Like many apps, the In-App Purchase description for Carrot Weather is essentially non-existent. All you know is that something called "Premium" cost $1.99 + tax every year. I searched the companys website and found this:
"CARROT has the most advanced set of complications on the App Store: they look nicer, load faster, and display more - and more useful - data than all her competitors.
If you upgrade to premium, youll unlock hourly updates, rain prediction, and a whole host of customization options: change colors, switch between actual and "feels like" temps, and add extra data points like UV index and precipitation chance to both the large and small slots. (Examples.)"
This may explain my problem with the Watch complication for Carrot Weather. It doesnt update. Or it updates so infrequently as to be pretty useless. The temperature reading on the complication was always off because of this. It seems you need to pay for the premium in-app purchase to have the complication update...well, once an hour. I dont want to have to tap on the complication to open the app on my Watch to force an update! And I really dont want to have to pay for ANOTHER subscription just to have my watch display the correct temperature.
The native Apple weather complication stays updated. Its much more useful and its free.
